Optimist Club of Knoxville

The Optimist Club of Knoxville is a voluntary organization of civic-minded men and woman banded together for community service, self development, and fellowship. Members are motivated by the desire to contribute back to the community by encouraging the development of youth.

Members are encouraged to develop optimism as a philosophy of life; to promote an active interest in good government and civic affairs; to inspire respect for law; to promote patriotism and work for international accord and friendship among all people.

Our club is a part of Optimist International which has over 2,400 clubs across the United States, Canada and many other foreign countries.



Join Us

The Optimist Club of Knoxville has met every Friday since 1920.

Currently the club meets at the Foundry on the Fair Site (in World’s Fair Park) every Friday at noon.
